Janet Wuichet grew up in rural Georgia. She attended Augusta College and took classes at the Atlanta College of Art. For many years Janet led camp children of all ages in a wide variety of art and craft projects, a learning experience that she counts among her richest and most rewarding. Observant and imaginative, she is largely self-taught.
For me, creating is often a form of meditation. Growing up in rural Georgia we were able to experience the luxury of time and silence...fertile ground for imagination and creativity to flourish. As a seeker, art is not about finding answers but about exploring mystery. Subjects may be whimsical, mythical, or an expression of the wonder, beauty, or contradictions of life.
